Sunny Seminole Escape with Private Pool Family-Friendly 4-Bedroom Home

The check-in was very smooth. We didn’t have much need to communicate with the host other than to address the pool issues. The house was clean and in a decent location. We did drive back and forth to the beaches in the area and everything that we wanted to do was typically within 15-25 minutes. The house was spacious and the master room was really nice! It would have been nice to have television in the two other rooms for people to wind down at night, but that isn’t necessarily a deal breaker. There were no dressers for clothes so that was an issue. Overall, the house was clean and nice.The biggest issue we had was the pool. We checked in on Saturday and the pool was not heated until Thursday. It was advertised as heated, but unfortunately there were some issues and it was barely 80 degrees a majority of the stay. They finally got it fixed after several days of our vacation. That only left our kiddos two full days to really enjoy the pool (especially at night) before we left and we already had items scheduled for Friday. I cleaned the pool the best I could daily due to a tree that dropped many leaves in it constantly (the cleaner does come once a week). The pool was a disappointment and was the main reason we booked this particular house.

The property management company was extremely easy to work with and very responsive whenever we had questions. Their communication throughout our stay was excellent and very much appreciated.The home itself is spacious and works very well for larger families or even two families vacationing together. The layout provides plenty of room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The property managers were also very accommodating and allowed us to host a small gathering to celebrate our daughter’s surprise 30th birthday, which made the trip even more special. It’s a great location and setup for that type of occasion.Unfortunately, during our stay the property management company was dealing with issues with their lawn service, so the yard was overgrown with some dead plants and palm branches scattered throughout. Thankfully they have now hired a new company who was actively working to get everything cleaned up.The home could use some updates here and there, but with a vacation rental that accommodates many guests, a few bumps and bruises are to be expected.One suggestion would be to add additional seating in the family room. Since the house sleeps up to 12 guests, the current seating (two sofas seating about six people total) can be a bit limite
