Madeira Place 303: 1BD/2BA Retreat Near John's

Our family of three stayed here for a week. It is a spacious one-bedroom condo with a cozy balcony. Ocean view is a plus. One and-a-half bathroom was a selling point for us having two teenagers. Full spacious kitchen is equipped with everything needed for meal preparations, including a blender. All kitchen appliances and utensils were clean. Dishwasher looked a bit worn-out and honestly I was hesitant to use it; I didn't mind washing dishes by hand. Overall a very clean and safe place to stay. AC worked great and there was no musty smell at all. Easy check-in, comminication via texting, and check-out. Super easy access to the beach right accross the street. A small fish market a minute drive away heading towards John's pass selling daily catch is a true gem. The only negative thing was a living room noise coming from the road; apparently living room window and sliding door are not noise-proof. It didn't affect is much as my kids watched movies 'til late night anyway, but it may be a problem for guests looking for a quiet stay. Noise didn't affect the bedroom as ot faces the back of the building. Overall, I would definitely recomend this place and would stay here again.

I loved the new bedroom furniture! It would be nice if this unit had hurricane sliding glass doors for the patio. I love the pantry, too. The sweeper doesn't pick up very well and the dishwasher is very old, although it works ok. The bottom rack is rusted and one or more of the spokes is broken from the rust. The oven is great and is kept very clean. The microwave oven is ancient but does its job. Despite all of this, I enjoy living here for 6 weeks during the winter. Thank you for all you do!! Fran

Very clean and excellent communication from host.

Location of this property is perfect for beachgoers. Walking distance to restaurants, great pool, place was very clean. However, very loud traffic until midnight.
